ABOUT ME

In my teenage years, I embarked on an exhilarating journey across Europe, exploring its rich history and diverse cultures. It was during this time that I discovered my passion for event management when I had the opportunity to organize my first event in Slovenia for a Japanese artist group. This experience sparked a deep interest in the intricacies of bringing people together and creating memorable experiences.

During my time as a model and student in Japan, I dedicated myself to honing my skills in photography and 3D modeling. I immersed myself in the world of digital art, learning various programs and techniques to bring my creative visions to life. The rapidly evolving technologies, including XR, AI, lidar, and photogrammetry, captivated my attention, with photogrammetry enabling me to collect 3D "memories" wherever I traveled.

While attending school in Japan, I worked as a fashion model, representing prestigious brands such as Armani, Olympus, l'Oreal, Wella, Issey Miyake, and Shiseido. These experiences allowed me to gain an in-depth look at the intricacies of the fashion industry, creative production, advertisement, and social media management. I found myself drawn to the artistic and unconventional photo shoots organized by fashion schools and underground designers, which took place in extraordinary locations and unique settings. This world provided me with invaluable insights into the dynamics of the industry and fueled my passion for project management.

During this time, I also had the chance to work for a powerful individual in Japan, delving into a hidden layer of society and witnessing the deals and manipulation that occur behind closed doors.

After roughly 6 years in Japan, I took a leap and ventured back to Europe. It was there that I embarked on a new chapter of my professional journey as an artist manager. This role allowed me to combine my passion for the arts with my natural flair for organization and strategic thinking, as well as love for exploring the world.

Traveling to over 25 countries duting this time, I worked closely with talented individuals from various backgrounds while managing the main clients' careers, overseeing bookings, and facilitating content creation. I took on responsibilities such as licensing, contract drafting, travel logistics and creative direction, in an ever expanding role that slowly ended up consuming my entire private life.

Initially, alongside my artist management career, I also dedicated my time to volunteering, seeking opportunities to experience the unusual and gain random skills, such as milking cows on a farm in Iceland, or planting rice on a remote island in Japan.

After nearly burning out and experiencing more than a fair share of cluster B personalities, I took on a new chapter of life, making the decision to relocate to Kiruna - Sweden, stemming from a volunteering experience only a few weeks earlier.

There, I embraced the opportunity to work with an arctic adventure company, immersing myself in the breathtaking beauty of the Arctic landscape. As head of business development, I managed social media accounts, created engaging content, and established partnerships to increase online visibility. Additionally, I cared for a team of 60+ Alaskan huskies, summer and winter activities, and handling bookings, logistics and customer relations over the season, as well as setting up a new website and new tours, improving on-location operations and equipment, procedures and organisation. The work loads were topped up with the breathtaking, raw, pure nature of the Arctic, being out and about in the forest, on the swamps, along with the dogs, and the aurora borealis in winter. Life was mad and dangerous and harsh, but incredibly beautiful at the same time.

A personal relationship eventually tipped over from worrying to dangerous and I had to leave the beautiful frozen diamond of the North. Needing to clear my mind and heart, and driven by a thirst for new challenges and personal growth, I embarked on a sailing adventure, spending months sailing through Puerto Rico and undertaking a boat delivery from Miami to Bermuda. This exhilarating journey exposed me to the wonders of life at sea, testing my resilience, adaptability, and teamwork skills. It emphasised again the importance of effective communication, problem-solving, and fostering harmonious relationships in challenging environments while avoiding being exploited and abused (a big thing in sailing) - and all the diplomacy skills involved. I also (finally) allowed myself to learn setting more boundaries, being more assertive in this regard and putting personal wellbeing and health above the deeply engrained sense of responsibility and loyalty when a situation or individual became too toxic.

Now, as I seek new opportunities and avenues for personal and professional development, I am eager to bring together my diverse experiences and skill set. With a strong foundation in project management, photography and graphic design, travel management, the music and tourism industry and intercultural communication, I am equipped with a versatile toolkit that allows me to navigate various creative and business domains. Coupled with certifications in PRINCE2 Foundations and Practitioner, or an advanced open water diver qualification, I like taking on all kinds of work and life challenges, collecting skills and seeing businesses thrive.

In my quest for a new chapter, I am in search of a role that not only offers inspiration and adventure but also provides fair compensation. I am eager to find opportunities that enable me to continue exploring new places, embracing different cultures, and engaging in meaningful work. Whether it's project management, artist management, or a role that allows me to leverage my diverse skill set in the middle of wild nature, I am ready to take on challenges, assume varied responsibilities, and embark on a journey of perpetual learning and growth.
